This goes straight to the soul. Everything on this song connects with the deepest and most espiritual meaning of my life.
The Thin Red Line is one of my all-time favorite films. This is my tribute to the great Terrence Malick and Hans Zimmer: ❤❤❤ ruclips.net/video/uQYogpKbahw/видео.htmlsi=NxTkypkVcznFNDh2
I still hope that one day we'll get the true directors cut. I have loved this movie from my first watch, in large part due to the incredible work by Hans Zimmer and the Melanesian choir.
SOSOSOOSO GRATEFULLLLLL FOOOOOOOOORRRR THIS MUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So grateful for this music!!! Saved my life!!!!
I think about this scene a lot, wondering if at the time of death I'll be granted the moment to pause and see that this is really it. That I'm about to disappear or go elsewhere. I just hope that when that time comes, there isn't too much regret in my heart.
Stylish like James Dean
The Thin Red Line is not just the greatest WW2 film ever made but also the greatest war film of all time. It's amazingly powerful and emotional that it truly touches the soul and that's the type of masterpiece that is really special. I can't think of another war film that has had such a profound effect on me both spiritually and mentally.
Look out at the things you made. All thing shining
Недооцененный фильм ! Актёрский состав отличный . А музыкальные композиции это Шедевр !!!
I found this scene far too emotional to accept. It upset me so much as to the naivety of the character.
I love how this piece has tones of "Jisas Yu Holem Hand Blong Mi" all over it. Not Hans Zimmer handing me the feels in a matter of seconds.
When I listen to this, it's just me and the Universe.
My most beatifaul death witt was a angel
Фильм с философским уклоном ! 👍👍👍
I thought I was too old to cry at movies. The movie is a masterpiece.
Here here
@@pauljohnson271 hear, hear
I think the more older you get (more experience), you feel it even more. What life is
Just saw it again Broke my heart Excellent film
Gets me in the feels every single time 😢
Ive got this sentimental feelings with this movie especially with Prvt Witt.....coz my Grandfather was in the 1st Malay Regiment that fought the Japanese Imperial Army during the WW2 Japanese occupation in Malaya.....My Gand with his small company of the Malay Regiment were dug in Bukit Timah...defending Singapore...along side the lagendary Lt Adnan. Most if not ALL, of his company mates fell ...but they did not surrendered to the Japanese, they hold their position to he last men....wave after wave the japanese came and they manage to hold Bukit Timah with small gourp of men...but when bullets were out, rifles were hot, bullets stuck, men died and wounded...they still fought untill they were "Captured"... The Japanese were very furious because many of their soldiers were killed....So they tied the remaining Malay regiment and hang them on the trees and bayoneted to them death.......... "No Surrender"...No Surrender! ..my Grand was one of them.
This movie was a masterpiece.
This is my absolute favorite movie!

Hello everyone what great music
Jeremiah 17:9-10 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10 I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Deuteronomy 30:15-19 15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; 16 In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. 17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; 18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed shall live.
The Platoon does not have anything on this movie.
Ezekiel 6:1-7 1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophecy against them. 3 And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places. 4 And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols. 5 And I will lay the dead carcasses of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter the bones round about your altars. 6 In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished. 7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
where is your spark now?
That look in Witt’s eyes when he knows he’s going to die. He doesn’t fight it, he accepts it and like all of us, there’s the look of momentary surprise that THIS is it.
I like how the camera pans up to the sun in the trees, indicating that he’s crossed over, then we see him with the villagers.
Indeed. but I would rather die than being captured by the japanese soldiers.
@@marvinkem3201 yes many vets who were captured by the Japanese came home with serious ptsd and bitter hate toward the Japanese people.
The look was not only the realization that it was his moment, but that it was the same moment he saw with his mothers' death. And unlike he says in the beginning of the film, this time he can see the good in death.
This music is now available on the La-La Land 4CD expanded soundtrack.
"What difference do you think you can make, one single man in all this madness? If you die it's gonna be for nothing. There's not some other world out there where everything's gonna be okay. There's just this one. Just this rock."
One of the best movies on all time, Witt the best of men
Esto es tan profundo que te desgarra el alma. He salvado vidas y disparado mi arma, me parte en dos.
The Jim Caviezel deserve respect!!!...…....This Is how people should act........no anger, no hate, just love and welcome death......cuz You Can avoid it!!!
Girlfriend left me after 7 years. Listening to this remember me of the good times, and know that is still love and happines out there in this beautiful amazing world, dont rust guys. Keep moving, living in the past will justbring you a heart of stone and sadness.

Чистый человек не в нечистом месте Вит. Иди к матере с тем же спокойствием
Mahalo for sharing this beautiful music, from a movie that deserves greater recognition! Aloha 😊❤️🙏🏼🤙🏼
It is hard to get the image of Caviezel of Christ out of my mind -- this film preceded Passion by six years, and I saw them in their proper chronological order -- but there's something greater than the sum of its parts here, when Pvt. Witt reaches some inner peaceful decision and chooses to "transcend." It's hard to put into words. Almost like he takes the sun, and the sand, and the swimming schoolchildren into himself, realizing his life is at an end, and makes that (sun, sand, swim) his final moment. Maybe I'm just stating the obvious, but it jumped right out of the theater for me. Made me wonder if I could do similarly, when my time came (car crash, deathbed, illness, etc.).
Fantastic
Джим та сцена где твой герой принимает свою смерть с тем же спокойствием что и его мать под музыку цимера феноменальна долгих тебе лет жизни и счастья и цимеру тоже.
